Aftersales & Training Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supports after-sales and training-related administrative duties, including but not limited to processing payments, creating presentations, and gathering and reporting data from/to the dealers for training, quality, and warranty operations. Assists in applying other Isuzu policies to the aftersales process according to application guidelines. Provides aftersales and training assistance to Isuzu-related companies and departments when needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Reviews, collects Technical Information Report (TIR) data, and supports investigation with Isuzu Motors Limited (IML); prepares an internal report and the related answer to dealers.

2. Receives AR (Authorization Request) submitted by the dealers, applies Isuzu policies, and generates management reports. Supports IML requests and communicates with the dealers.

3. Receives and answers official communication with the dealers about gathering service and training information and creates related reports.

4. Retrieves information as requested from records, emails, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written data summaries when needed.

5. Maintains updated user information for the Isuzu Latin American & Caribbean (ILAC ) Learning Management System (LMS) and makes reports related to training performance for each dealer and ILAC top management.

6. Coordinates payments related to the aftersales and training activities by responding to and resolving administrative inquiries and questions.

7. Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.

8. Supports aftersales team with administrative duties on training facility and training events.

9. Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to: Sr. Manager, Aftersales & Training

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

  • Associates of Arts degree or equivalent directly related work experience and preferably pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or engineering.
  • Minimum one year of experience in business, sales administration, or related field

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of office management policies, technologies, and procedures
  • Basic project management and budget administration knowledge
  • Understanding service and parts operations, including quality and warranty systems, is a plus
  • Exposure to a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus
  • Basic usage of Power Bi software is a plus

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications (database, graphics, presentation, spreadsheet and word processing)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Internet search techniques

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. There are occasional instances requiring lifting of light to average objects (5 lbs. to 60 lbs.) and rare instances requiring lifting of heavy objects (over 60 lbs.).

Requires international travel over 5% - 15% of the time, including overnight stays.

Pay scale for this position is between $45,662 and $54,794. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
